I am a pure beginner. Is this course going to be over my head?
Everyone is starting at a different level. The Intro course is designed for everyone, from pure beginner to seasoned photographer. Some people will get through it faster and for others, this is the important base that every photographer needs.
My camera is fairly old, should I buy something new?
No!! Shake what your momma gave you! Learn with the camera you have and after a short while you will figure out what type of camera and the features you need for the type of photography you do. I always recommend waiting to buy.
I am a hands on learner and I have tried reading the manual. It doesn't work for me. How will this be better?
All I can say is I have taught this course to thousands of people and it works. Working from a website is, admittedly, a challenge. However, the lessons are designed to give you a procedure that works. In the same way that a pilot is required to go through a simple checklist before the plane flies, a photographer needs a simple checklist before pulling the trigger.
